Renovation Update: Preparing Our Classical French Château for Winter

As the seasons begin to shift, we’re excited to share the latest progress in the renovation of our classical French château. Nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside Paris, the estate continues to transform as we restore its historic charm while preparing for the colder months ahead.

Restoration Progress

Our renovation team has been focusing heavily on essential electrical upgrades throughout the Gites. Older wiring is being carefully replaced, modern lighting systems are being installed, and energy-efficient setups are being prepared to support heating and safety features throughout the estate. We’re also updating various behind-the-scenes systems to ensure reliability and comfort once the château reopens—all while preserving the historical character of every space.

Landscaping & Grounds

The grounds surrounding the château have also seen major progress. Garden pathways have been cleared and re-stabilized, and our landscaping team has been preparing the lawns, floral beds, and treed areas for winter dormancy. Pruning has been completed to ensure healthy regrowth in spring. Even as the leaves fall, the estate maintains its enchanting charm.

Preparing for Winter

With winter approaching, our priority has been fortifying the Gites against the colder weather. Insulation improvements, chimney inspections, and heating-system upgrades are underway to ensure energy efficiency and comfort throughout the estate. We’re also installing weatherproofing measures around windows and doors to protect the Gites historic features while maintaining durability for years to come.
